My Story

Chris Finch is a Miraphone euphonium artist who has his Bachelor of Music Education from Texas Christian University and his Master of Music Performance with a related field in Music Business from the University of North Texas at Denton, TX.

 

During his time at TCU studying under Mr. Richard Murrow, he was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Service Fraternity, the president of the Tuba/Euphonium Society, and performed in groups such as the TCU Wind Symphony, the Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble, and numerous tuba/euphonium quartets.

 

During his graduate work at UNT, Chris was awarded a Teaching Fellowship through Dr. David Childs. He was also proud to be the 2nd place winner at the Falcone International Tuba/Euphonium Conference, a currently member of the Dallas Brass Band, a co-founder of the Viridity Euphonium Quartet, 3rd place Artist Soloist and 1st place Mock Band winner at the South Central Regional Tuba/Euphonium Conference, and a member of the UNT Wind Symphony. 

In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time working out at his local gym, spend time with his friends and colleagues, go on walks with his jack russell terrier, and sip on a glass of bourbon or some peated scotch.
